Why is ‘Ah Meh’ called ‘Ah Meh’? In the Shanghai dialect, ‘Ah Meh’ means mum. She always speaks ‘Ah Meh’ to her daughter, because her daughter is the mum of her granddaughters; Ah Meh is an old but young-hearted sheep.
