Vernissage "Hacking Global Pop Icons" – Shared Campus Summer School 2021
: Billie Untold presents BI, an artificial intelligence which collects Billie Eilish's data from the World Wide Web. Following absorption, BI entered a state of obsession. After a rehab she can finally talk about her relationship with Billie and journeys with this knowledge to deconstruct 'Billie culture'. Adopting a multifocal lens, the instagram page will showcase her journey through Eilish obsession to rehabilitation and the liminal spaces in between. BI failed to comprehend the nuances of the Billieverse. With the help of 7 artworks realised through a multidisciplinary collaboration with art and design students from Amsterdam, Beijing, Hong Kong, London, Siegen and Zurich, what will you uncover?
